If you are new here at the Laurel congregation, please provide your contact info to our Welcome Team or one of our Ministers. You may have your photo taken the first Sunday of each month in the church library, so you can add the church directory and photo board in the lobby. Twice a year we have a NEW MEMBERS LUNCHEON where the new members are the honored guests. This gives you a chance to get to know our Elders and Ministers and other new members.
The bulletin is a great place to learn the names and contact info of our Elders, Ministers and Deacons, and to find a LIFE GROUP to join. This will help you feel connected and comfortable more quickly. You will notice that we are a very open, warm, informal congregation, and that we focus on accomplishing the Mission together every week. We not only value the Word of God above all else, we emphasize the applying of The Word to daily living as well. We want every single member to grow spiritually as they become an active and precious part of this church family.
Participation by every member in the MISSION 1 TRAINING classes or sessions is part of how we help to ensure the spiritual growth and oneness of the Body. There are also various spiritual retreats, Ladies Days, and special seminars you can enjoy for free. If you are interested in mission trips overseas, we have a number of choices of mission points to go on mission. Ask a mission deacon or minister about mission opportunities.
