The Laurel congregation has a Bible Study for you during the week. Come spend time with us in one or all the wonderful classes.

2026-2027 Tuesday ladies bible study

At the end of our 2025 Tuesday Ladies Class, we were just finishing the book of “Hebrews.”


You are encouraged to join us as we continue studying the New Testament in the study “James”, brother of Jesus. What do you know about James? A good study Bible and commentary will help you and the class to find out just what he told to his audience and now to us.  This study will continue in our workbook -- “New Testament.”

Note: We will continue to study from this book in Fall 2026.


 As we enter this Fall’s Schedule, we will be reviewing this study and will continue in our workbook -- “New Testament” by Catherine B. Walker.

A Bible study for ladies is available at the church building as well as by Zoom.

The class is taught by women of the congregation and uses scripturally  based topics.

The Purpose of the Book Club:

Ephesians 2:8-10, God has equipped us to do good works & Matthew 25:14-15, using our Talents to serve each other and the Lord!

WOMENS BOOK CLUB HISTORY DOCUMENT


“NEW” Girls Teen Class

What is a Woman?


Room: “Teen Room” Basement

 

This class is for teen girls and lasts about 6-8 weeks. 

It will occur 2 to 3 times a year.


Objectives:

  • To study what the Bible has to say about being a woman
  • To teach sound doctrine to women and let no one say we caused them to malign the Word of God (Titus 2:1,5)
  • To help young women with their identity as (Christian) women
  • To help young women study the Bible
  • To help young women build their faith through practical life application
  • To combat the confusion and perversion of the world that is indoctrinating and corrupting our young women (Rom 1:18-2:16; Titus 1:10-16)

polished cornerstones

Polished Cornerstones is a scripture-based, life application class designed to support young women in fulfilling God’s unique plan for our lives.  

Class participation includes Bible study, prayer, discussion, and occasional activities.


We meet every other Friday @ 6:00 pm at the building. Ages 8-108 are welcome!
